Greg McGuinness, Chief Executive Officer: As CEO, Greg is responsible for leading the organization in the next phase of its genesis, scaling and commercialization. Previously, Greg was a Co-Founder and CEO of TwiXimo Therapeutics Inc, a spin-out focussed on targeted protein degradation, from Cornell University, Chief Commercial Officer at Genturi Inc., Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Rose Ventures, V.P. Bus. Dev. at DNA Electronics Ltd., V.P of International Operations at NimbleGen Inc. (acquired by Roche), Head of Array EMEA-LATAM at Roche Dx, V.P Corp. Dev. at HiberGen Ltd. (acquired by Trinity Biotech Ltd.), Managing Director at Biotrin Ltd., Biomarkers (acquired by Diasorin), Head of Channel Partners for Invitrogen Inc, and R&D Systems Inc. establishing their initial international operations. Greg is an internationally recognized business executive with a comprehensive domain expertise in the Genomics and Proteomics fields. Greg holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Pharmacology, Toxicology and a first in Chemistry from University College Dublin, a Diploma in Management Studies from Oxford Brookes University, and a First Class M.Sc. in International Business, an international programme developed through the Irish government for senior executives with Trinity College Dublin including I.M.D (Lausanne), Babson College (Massachusetts), McGill University (Canada), and Duke University – Fuqua School of Business (N.Carolina).
David Ure, Chairman and Founder: David is co-inventor of the Longitudinal Assay Screening technology, holding several issued patents. He works closely with the C.E.O. to help coordinate all aspects of the company’s execution, including the development and implementation of products and operating infrastructure. David was previously an entrepreneur in the financial consulting industry, and he has spent the last twenty years in executive roles within Life Science and management consulting industries. Mr. Ure holds a Bachelor of Science with honors in Astrophysics, a Master of Science with Distinction in Radiation Physics from the University of Birmingham, U.K., and an MBA Summa Cum Laude, from Babson College, US.
Aaron Harmon Ph.D., General Manager & Director of Quality: Dr. Harmon coordinates, leads, and implements Inanovate’s operational strategy. In addition, he is building and implementing the Quality Management System to ensure Inanovate is compliant to the FDA’s Design Control approach and GMP manufacturing. He has over a decade of experience in product development and quality systems. Dr. Harmon holds a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from South Dakota State University and is active in the community if providing Quality Assurance education through the University of South Dakota.
Greg Votaw, Vice President of Engineering: Mr. Votaw is responsible for the design, manufacture, and optimization of Inanovate’s Bio-ID systems. Mr. Votaw has over 20 years’ experience developing and implementing automation systems for the pharmaceutical industry and managing projects from concept through R&D and installation at research sites worldwide. He is a specialist in microfluidics and automation systems with six issued patents and peer-reviewed papers. Mr. Votaw holds an AE in Electronics Engineering; and was three-time recipient of Scientific Excellence Award at GlaxoSmithKline.
Sarah Hamren, Chief Scientific Officer (Consultant): As CSO, Sarah is responsible for leading assay development, and she is Co-Founder of BayLabs Solutions. Previously Head of Custom Assays and Sample Testing at EMD Millipore, Director of Assay Dev. at Singulex, Director Protein Research and Lab. Ops. for Tethys Bioscience Inc., Research Scientist at Bayer Healthcare, Chiron Corp., and Microgenics. With over 20 years biotech experience, Sarah has deep domain expertise in assay development and operational leadership, overseeing the development of 100’s of successful biomarker assays. Sarah holds a B.S. in Microbiology and a BA in Chemistry from California State University, Chico.
